MacBook Pro Late 2019 Logic Board Dead

My 14 months old (just out of warranty) MacBook Pro Late 2019 just randomly stopped booting up. No fan noise, no lights no nothing. As if it isn’t even an electronic device anymore.

I sent it to Apple service Center for diagnosis and they informed me it’s logic board / motherboard is short circuited and they don’t know how to replace - they can only replace it.

The cost of replacement is 50% of what I paid for the original product itself.

I tried to make apple accept that this is obviously a faulty product and they should recall and help me out here. Even asked for reduced price. I’m stuck with the dead device which is asking for an fixing amount that is comparable to new devices.

Please your help is appreciated.
